Offering 20+kms of mountain bike trails, 15kms of walking trails, clay bird shooting, digger challenge, woodfired pizza making classes, we have something to tickle everyone’s fancy and can create a tailored getaway for you, you and your family/friends or you and your colleagues, which will leave you feeling relaxed, exhilarated or a combination of both.

— Mountain Biking —

Whether you’re a relative newbie to the the wonderful world of Mountain Biking or a seasoned professional chasing podium spots, Dirt Farm has something for you. From intermediate through to pro our flow, tech and jump trails have been crafted with love and affection to induce maximum stoke. Spend the day meandering through our beautiful native bush OR get a few mates together and while away the hours risking life and limb on our infamous pro jump line, Sky Burial. There really is something for everyone.

— WALKING —

Awe-inspiring views. Beautiful native bush. A feeling of being lost in nature. These are just some of the things you will experience as you take to Dirt Farms walking/running trails. From a leisurely stroll with a loved one, to a heart pounding 2hr hike, we have a network of trails that will let you get lost in nature, all the while being a hop step and a jump away from the comforts of your home away from home. Clearly sign posted and well formed, our walking/running trails will leave you feeling like an adventure, without once having to pull out a compass.

— CLAY BIRD SHOOTING —

Connect over a bit of healthy competition whilst doing your bit for conservation by helping us to keep our wild clay bird population down. Looking out over the beautiful Kapiti coast our shooting gallery is the perfect place to soak in the views while you provide verbal support to your friends/family or colleagues (i.e. heckle) as they take their turn to try their luck at knocking one of these elusive fluorescent clay birds out of the sky. Then load up and prepare to receive similar heckling (I mean support) as you test your own markspersonship.

— DIGGER CHALLENGE —

Let your inner child out and take control of our 1.8t digger, racing against the clock (and each other) to master the skills required to complete our Digger Challenge. Beware you might become addicted and end up buying one, digging up your back yard or worst case building a mountain bike park….

— PIZZA MAKING CLASSES —

Dating back over a millenium the history of the modern pizza is ancient and rich, filled with soul searching questions like, ‘is it ok to put pineapple on a pizza‘. Here at Dirt Farm we take our 3 years of experience watching youtube videos to transport you back to antiquity and teach you the skills required to be a master pizza artisan. Taking a lump of innocuous dough, we will teach you how to form the perfect pizza base using ancient techniques such as ‘prod finger‘, ‘DJ Hands‘ and ‘watch the rafters’, before showing you how to deliver your creation into the woodfire pizza oven, where it will invariably stick to the cooking stone, inadvertently producing a delicious calzone for you to dine on. Filled with laughs and good food (don’t worry we will have backups so you won’t go hungry) this is a great way to come together at the end of a day at Dirt Farm
